SPI Digital Health: Health Gorilla Takes Next Step in its QHIN Quest

Two weeks ago, data-sharing platform Health Gorilla announced that 17 healthcare organisations in the US had committed to joining its Qualified Health Information Network (QHIN). 

The organisations, a mix of providers, EHR vendors, IT vendors, payers, diagnostic labs and speciality pharmacies, will, as part of the Health Gorilla QHIN, be able to share health information nationally within the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA). TEFCA specifies a floor for universal interoperability across the US.
